Crossroads is a small group of believers who are determined to make a difference in the world around them. We are planning to do so the way Jesus did it, primarily through human contact. Our goal is not to become elevated above and away from the world. But rather, giving ourselves more and more to the service of people around us. Many churches have become like billboards on the moon. Declaring a message in a place so far removed from its audience that it is nearly useless. Only the most tenacious searchers will find it. Jesus tells us that we are in the world but not of the world. He called us to be His ambassadors to this world, taking His message of God’s merciful love to the highways and byways. This is what we are endeavoring to do. As God works His salvation into us, we are working it out, to present it to the lost multitudes around us.
